atalia Kapitonova is the Head of New Jersey practice at Stewart Karlin Law Group, PC.  She also works as a New York Special counsel for the firm.  Ms. Kapitonova’s practice at the firm focuses on Employment, Education, Insurance and Commercial law.  She also concentrates in ERISA Pension & Benefits litigation. As an experienced litigator at State, Federal and Appellate Levels, Ms. Kapitonova has successfully argued before the Second Circuit Court of Appeals and State Appellate Divisions on behalf of her clients.

In addition, Ms. Kapitonova has vast experience litigating Employment and Insurance cases. Further, Ms. Kapitonova zealously litigates ERISA Pension & Benefits on behalf of her clients and has successfully helped them recover the benefits they are entitled to.

Part of her practice also focuses on Education Law, where she has aggressively advocated on behalf of professional students and in internal appeals against their schools including, but not limited to, medical schools and law schools. Due to her experience and professionalism, she has been recognized by her peers, who have awarded her the Lawyers of Distinction Award recognizing her excellence in Employment and Insurance Law in the United States.  In addition, Ms. Kapitonova was selected as the winner of the Peru To The World Expo Award, for her excellency in the legal profession in North America by the International Committee of Peru To The World Expo and was given the Professional of the Year Award and Medal of Excellence by New Jersey Senator Robert Menendez.
